To everyone wanting to become a Flight Attendant. I hope you every success in the New Year.
This coming end of the present year and beginning of a new year makes me reflect on my job. As I think about the job as a Flight Attendant I realized how lucky we are. I am so grateful that we don't work under a supervisor or boss every time we go to work. If we don't like someone we just have to put up working with them for a very short time and may never see them again. I can't imagine the stress of going to an office atmosphere where you have to confront a co-worker or boss you don't like. Once home we can leave our work at work. Getting time off is not usually a problem. Not very many people can take off for ten days each month and travel somewhere if they wish, or work their schedule so they have a whole month off.
It is not easy when you first start flying. The pay is minimal, but the benefits are great. If you can work with what you are given, and realize it will get easier as time goes you will have a great career and a lot of wonderful experiences. If you love to travel this job allows you to take off and see the world at your whim. After a while we take this lifestyle for granted, but as you look at what the average worker has, we have it pretty good.
Hope your holiday season is special this year.
Cheers to all!
